Article 1
Revart Vertical Experience 2021 accepts entries from all countries of the MENA Region to be screened in the following sections of the Experience:
- Vertical Short Narrative Competition.
- Vertical Short Experimental Competition.
- Vertical Music Video Competition.

Article 2
Only films that produced after January 1, 2020 and did not participate in any of Revart’s previous editions are eligible for the Experience competitions. Preference will be given to national and international premieres.

Article 3
- The maximum duration of a vertical short narrative film must be 15 minutes.
- The maximum duration of a vertical short experimental film must be 15 minutes.
- The maximum duration of a vertical music video must be 10 minutes.

Article 4
Once a film or a music video has been selected and the invitation to participate at the Experience has been accepted, it cannot be withdrawn from the Experience program.

Article 5
All films must be in their original language and if this language is other than Arabic, the film must be subtitled in Arabic.

Article 6
The submission must contain the following:
- A duly completed entry form. This form has to be completed and submitted online on the website.
- The film screener link should be available until the end of the selection process.
- Only the rights holder or duly authorized person is eligible to submit an entry. Submission of a film to Revart Vertical Experience 2021 implies unconditional acceptance of Revart Vertical Experience’s rules and regulations.
- Submitter(s) is/are fully responsible for the authenticity of the information provided. If any discrepancy is found in the information provided by the submitter(s), the entry will be disqualified.
- If the film is selected, Revart Vertical Experience 2021 will require the following materials:
- An updated copy of the film with Arabic subtitles if the film's original language is other than Arabic.
- Detailed documentation, including: a synopsis of the film, a biography and complete filmography of the director, a selection of stills from the film, a recent photograph of the director, a full list of artistic and technical credits, dialogue or spotting list in English, film clips/trailer, digital and three-print copies of the poster, and the festivals and awards history of the film, if applicable. - Additionally, the Experience’s press office requires photos, biography and filmography of the leading actor/actress and a list of the film’s delegates attending the Experience, as well as press kits, stills, posters, and video-extracts of the films.

Article 7
Revart reserves the right to use all materials cited in Article 6 for promotional purposes and for the Experience catalogue.

Article 8

All decisions regarding the selection of films and the section in which they will be presented belong exclusively to Revart Vertical Experience. Revart is not obliged to offer comments or reasons for not selecting a film submitted for one of the Experience's programs. No legal claim to participate in the Experience can be filed.

Article 9
Preview formats eligible for the official selection:
• Aspect Ratio: 9:16
• File Extensions: .mp4 - .mov - .avi
• Video encoding format: H264 - Frame rate: 24, 25, 30 or 60 fps – Data rate > 5000 kbps – Quality / picture size: 1080:1920

• Audio encoding format: AAC - Rate quality: 320 kbps In case the preview format of the film is different than the listed ones.
the steering committee may accord an exception, then please contact us on submissions@revartfilmfestival.com before you finalize your submission.

Article 10
Revart has all the rights to cancel or postpone any of the competition or the whole edition at any point of time.

Article 11
- A minimum of a three-member Vertical Short Narrative Competition Jury will grant the following awards:
Revart’s Best Vertical Short Narrative Film (Trophy, Certificate and EGP 30,000)
*The cash award will be shared equally between the director and the main producer of the winning film.

- A minimum of a three-member Vertical Short Experimental Competition Jury will grant the following awards:
Revart’s Best Vertical Short Experimental Film (Trophy, Certificate and EGP 30,000)
*The cash award will be shared equally between the director and the main producer of the winning film.

- A minimum of a three-member Vertical Music Video Competition Jury will grant the following awards:
Revart’s Best Vertical Music Video (Trophy, Certificate and EGP 30,000)
*The cash award will be shared equally between the director and the main producer of the winning film.

- Audience will vote during the Experience to grant the following awards:
Revart’s Audience Award for Best Vertical Music Video (Trophy and Certificate)
Revart’s Audience Award for Best Vertical Short Film (Trophy and Certificate)

Article 12
- Revart Vertical Experience 2021 holds the right to announce awards from additional partners, and the right to cancel or edit any of the awards announced previously.
- Submitters of films eligible for these awards will be informed before the beginning of the Experience through Revart’s website or social media platforms.

Article 13
The invitation sent to a film selected for participation in the program of the Experience must remain strictly confidential between Revart and the filmmaker/producer or submitter of the film, until the Revart Vertical Experience makes an official announcement of its program.

Article 14
Award winners are expected to attend the Experience’s closing ceremony to be held on November 6, 2021. Winning films and music video must mention the award as announced, nationally as well as internationally, in all publicity and promotional material.

Article 15
- Disputes, if any, will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts in Egypt.
- Completed entry forms and required enclosures should be submitted online or sent by email.

مادة 1

يقبل تجربة ريف-آرت العمودية الأفلام و الكليبات الموسيقية من جميع الدول الشرق الأوسط و شمال أفريقيا ليتم عرضها ضمن الأقسام التالية:

- مسابقة الأفلام العمودية الروائية القصيرة.

- مسابقة الأفلام العمودية التجريبية القصيرة.

- مسابقة الكليبات الموسيقية العمودية.

مادة 2

الأفلام و الكليبات التي تم أنتجها بعد 1 يناير 2020 فقط ولم تشارك في أي دورة سابقة لريف-آرت لها الحق في دخول مسابقات المهرجان. ستُعطى الأولوية للأفلام في عروضها المحلية أو الدولية الأولى.

مادة 3

- الحد الأقصي لطول الفيلم العمودي الروائي القصير هو 15 دقيقة.

- الحد الأقصي لطول الفيلم العمودي التجريبي القصير هو 15 دقيقة.

- الحد الأقصي لطول الكليب الموسيقي العمودي هو 10 دقائق.

مادة 4

بمجرد اختيار الفيلم او الكيلب ثم قبول الدعوة من قبل صُناعه للمشاركة في المهرجان، لا يمكن سحب الفيلم من برنامج التجربة.

مادة 5

ينبغي أن تكون الأفلام في لغتها الأصلية وإذا كانت لغة الفيلم لغة غير العربية، يجب إضافة ترجمة لحوار الفيلم باللغة العربية.

مادة 6

ملف التقديم يجب أن يحتوي على المواد التالية:

- استمارة التقديم بعد ملئها من قبل مالك أو ملاك أصحاب حقوق الفيلم محتوية على رابط الفيلم.

- استمارة التقديم متوفرة على موقع ريف-آرت الإلكتروني رابط المشاهدة الخاص بالفيلم ، يجب أن يظل هذا الرابط متاحاً حتى نهاية فترة اختيار الأفلام

ملاك أصحاب حقوق الأفلام فقط أو الشخص المخول من قبلهم لهم/ له الحق في تقديم طلب دخول الفيلم للتجربة.

- تقديم الفيلم إلى تجربة ريف-آرت العمودية يتضمن قبول غير مشروط للوائح والأحكام الخاصة بالتجربة.

- يكون الشخص أو الأشخاص الذين سيقدمون الفيلم للتجربة مسؤولين عن صحة المعلومات المقدمة. في حالة اكتشاف أي أخطاء في المعلومات المقدمة من الشخص أو الأشخاص الذين قدموا الفيلم، سيتم استبعاد الفيلم. إذا تم اختيار الفيلم ليشارك في أحد مسابقات التجربة، سيقوم تجربة ريف-آرت العمودية بطلب المواد التالية:

تحميل نسخة من الفيلم بالترجمة العربية إذا كانت اللغة الأصلية للفيلم لغة غير العربية. تقديم وثائق تفصيلية ومن بينها ملخص للفيلم، وسيرة ذاتية لمخرجه وقائمة بسيرته السينمائية وصورة حديثة له وقائمة كاملة بالمعلومات الفنية والتقنية الخاصة بالفيلم. تفريغ مطبوع لحوار الفيلم بالتوقيت (spotting list)

الإعلان الترويجي أو المقدمة الدعائية للفيلم وكذلك ثلاثة بوسترات مطبوعة وتواريخ مشاركات الفيلم في أي مهرجانات والجوائز التي حصل عليها في حالة وجودها. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيطلب المكتب الصحفي لتجربة ريف-آرت العمودية سير ذاتية للممثلين والممثلات الذين يلعبون الأدوار الرئيسية في الفيلم وكذلك سيرتهم السينمائية من خلال قائمة بالأفلام التي شاركوا فيها إلى جانب تقديم قائمة الفريق الذي سيمثل الفيلم في التجربة بالإضافة إلى الملف الصحفي ولقطات من الفيلم وبوستراته ومقتطفات فيديو منه.

مادة 7

يحتفظ ريف-آرت بحقه في استخدام كل المواد المذكورة في المادة السابعة للأغراض الترويجية وكتالوج التجربة.

مادة 8

القرارات المتعلقة باختيار الأفلام والأقسام التي سيتم تقديم الأفلام من خلالها هي قرارات حصرية لتجربة ريف-آرت العمودية. ريف-آرت غير مضطرة لتقديم أي تعليقات أو أسباب لعدم اختيار فيلم معين تم تقديمه لأحد الأقسام. ليس لأحد الحق في رفع دعاوى قانونية لعدم اختياره للمشاركة في التجربة.

مادة 9

صيغات العرض المؤهلة للمشاركة:

- أبعاد الفيلم: 9:16

- صيغة الملف : .mp4 - .avi - .mov

- ترميز الفيديو : H264

معدل الإطارات: 24 أو 25 أو 30 أو 60 إطارًا في الثانية -

-معدل البيانات> 5000 كيلو بت في الثانية -

الجودة / حجم الصورة: 1080/1920

-تنسيق ترميز الصوت - AAC :جودة المعدل: 320 كيلوبت في الثانية.

في حال كانت صيغة الفيلم دون المذكور أعلاه، يجوز للجنة المختصة منح استثناء في بعض الحالات، لذا يرجى الاتصال بنا عن طريق submissions@revartfilmfestival.com قبل الانتهاء من تقديمك.

مادة 10

ادارة ريف-آرت لديها جميع الحقوق لإلغاء أو تأجيل أي من المسابقات أو الدورة بأكملها في أي مرحلة وقتية.

مادة 11

تمنح هيئة تحكيم مكونة من ثلاث أعضاء بحد أدنى لمسابقة الأفلام العمودية الروائية القصيرة الجوائز والمكافآت التالية:

جائزة ريف-آرت لأفضل فيلم عمودي روائي قصير وتشمل (درع ريف-آرت، شهادة و30,000 جنيه مصري)

*يتم اقتسام الجائزة النقدية بالتساوي بين المخرج والمنتج الرئيسي للفيلم الفائز بالجائزة.

تمنح هيئة تحكيم مكونة من ثلاث أعضاء بحد أدنى لمسابقة الأفلام العمودية التجريبية القصيرة الجوائز والمكافآت التالية:

جائزة ريف-آرت لأفضل فيلم عمودي تجريبي قصير وتشمل (درع ريف-آرت، شهادة و30,000 جنيه مصري)

*يتم اقتسام الجائزة النقدية بالتساوي بين المخرج والمنتج الرئيسي للفيلم الفائز بالجائزة.

تمنح هيئة تحكيم مكونة من ثلاث أعضاء بحد أدنى لمسابقة الكليبات الموسيقية العمودية الجوائز والمكافآت التالية:

جائزة ريف-آرت لأفضل كليب موسيقي عمودي وتشمل (درع ريف-آرت، شهادة و30,000 جنيه مصري)

*يتم اقتسام الجائزة النقدية بالتساوي بين المخرج والمنتج الرئيسي للفيلم الفائز بالجائزة.

يمنح الجمهور عن طريق التصويت خلال المهرجان الجوائز والمكافآت التالية:

جائزة الجمهور لأفضل كليب موسيقي عمودي ( درع ريف-آرت و شهادة)

جائزة الجمهور لأفضل فيلم عمودي قصير ( درع ريف-آرت و شهادة)

مادة 12

تحتفظ تجربة ريف-آرت العمودية بحقها في إعلان جوائز إضافية من قبل أطراف أخرى, و حقها في تعديل أو إلغاء أي من الجوائز المعلنة سابقا, و سيتم الأعلان عن ذلك قبل بداية التجربة من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني للمهرجان أو من خلال المنشورات التي نقوم بتدوينها على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي.

مادة 13

يجب أن تظل الدعوة التي يتم إرسالها إلى فيلم تم اختياره للمشاركة في برامج التجربة سرية تماماً ومحصورة بين إدارة ريف-آرت وصانع الفيلم أو منتجه أو الشخص الذي تقدم بالفيلم حتى وقت إعلان التجربة بشكل رسمي عن برنامجه.

مادة 14

على الفائزين بالجوائز في مسابقات التجربة أن يحضروا حفل الختام، والذي سيقام في السادس من نوفمبر 2021. وعلى الأفلام و الكليبات الفائزة أيضاً أن تذكر الجوائز كما تم الإعلان عليها محلياً ودولياً في جميع المواد الدعائية والترويجية.

مادة 15

في حالة حدوث نزاعات قضائية تعتبر المحاكم في جمهورية مصر العربية هي الجهة الوحيدة المخول لها الفصل في تلك النزاعات.
